Privacy policy
This policy explains who processes your data, why, for how long, and how you can exercise your rights.
1. Data controller
GRUPO GOTHIC 2000 SL, tax ID B24834731, with tax address at Carrer d’Avinyó, 56, 08002 Barcelona, Spain, is the controller for the processing described in this policy in connection with Momo Avinyó.
To exercise your rights or make a privacy enquiry, send a written request to that address marked “Data protection”.
2. Data, purposes and legal bases
This website does not create user accounts or provide its own contact form. When you call the restaurant or request a reservation, identifying and contact details, date, time, party size, preferences and any information you choose to provide may be processed.
Reservation data is processed to handle your request and provide the requested service, based on pre-contractual steps and performance of the contractual relationship. Enquiries are handled based on your request and the legitimate interest in providing customer service.
Minimal security and operational data may also be processed to protect the website, prevent abuse and resolve incidents, based on legitimate interests and, where relevant, legal obligations. The site records limited first-party statistics — action, page, language, device class, referring domain and UTM parameters — using a random identifier that exists only for the current page load. The IP address is not stored and no cookies or persistent identifiers are used for this measurement. This website does not make decisions producing legal effects through automated processing.
Google Ads and TikTok Pixel load only when you allow the advertising-measurement category. When active, they can measure reservation and Google Maps clicks and process data under their own policies.
3. Reservations, maps and recipients
Reservations are managed through a CoverManager module that loads only after you authorise external services and open the reservation panel. Information entered there is sent directly to that service to process the reservation.
Google Maps loads only if you authorise external services. When third-party content loads, those providers may receive technical information such as your IP address and device data under their own policies.
Data may also be disclosed to technology suppliers acting for the controller under appropriate safeguards and to public authorities where required by law.
4. Retention
Data is kept for as long as needed to handle the enquiry or reservation and then for the periods required to meet legal obligations and address potential liability. Technical security data is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for its purpose.
Preferences saved in the browser remain until you change them, clear browser data or the stored consent version expires.
5. Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, objection, restriction and portability where applicable, and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. Requests are free unless they are manifestly unfounded or excessive as provided by law.
To protect your data, we may ask for additional information only where necessary to verify your identity. If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency at www.aepd.es.
6. Security and changes
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are applied to protect data against loss, alteration, unauthorised access or disclosure. No internet-connected system can guarantee absolute security.
This policy may be updated when services or laws change. The date of the current version appears on this page.
